4 Trade has been approached by Treehut Limited to distribute and promote
its materials.
Treehut
Limited produces the "Suzy's World" DVDs which come from the
TV show presented by Suzy Cato and which screened on TV3. The
episodes are short ( approx 10 minutes) and are based on the
school Science Curriculum. They cover a wide range of topics from
each of the learning strands and the programme was made with the help of
teachers and Team Solution education advisors.

you would like to own a few of the volumes then just download

We are taking bulk orders this week for your 5

HandGard Sanitizer
By request we still have this available in 5

We have been told that some schools have had
parents being prepared to buy a bottle or 2 for their own child's
exclusive use. Bottles of sanitizer for use can be controlled by
the teachers easily within the classroom instead of the cloakrooms where
it can get wasted easily. Each student will only need 1 pump of product
without using any water or drying towel. It leaves a pleasant smell and
all hands are sanitized before having any meal. This is a very
economical and easy way of taking some very important precautions.
For this exercise we will discuss the 5 litre
cotainers and a 250 mil bottle with a 2 ml Lotion pump fitted.
1 x 5ltr container is $50.00 + GST
1 x 250 ml bottle is $1.20 + GST
1 x 2 ml Lotion pump is $1.40 + GST
5000 mls ( 5ltr) divided by 250 mls = 20
bottles filled per 5 ltr.
So... Per each bottle of product
costs...
To fill with product =$2.50, Bottle =
$1.20. Pump = $1.40, = Total cost = $5.10 + GST. The next refill
of product will then only be $2.50 for the product.

Last month our customers cleaned us out so we had to source
some more urgently. Why would you use or replace these essential items
with anything else. Our coat hooks are made of steel ( not alloy )
therefore cannot be broken. Made to screw in the same screw holes as the
alloy ones and are galvanise plated. The price is about 1/2 of

Warden's Arm Bands (Unique to Trend 4 Trade)
One of our distributing customers buys these
by the 100's because they are such good value. These are used
extensively throughout the building and construction industries. These
are regulation requirements so the designated Wardens are visible at all
times. We have designed and manufactured these arm bands ourselves so
the velcro fasteners won't damage your nice woollen clothing.
They are made in Hi -Vis orange or yellow high grade vinyl fabric.

Every
day we are seeing articles in the news regarding Swine Flu and the precautions
we all need to take to help combat it's spread. The government is making
further provisions to control it's spread. Headlines are like "Govt
boosts powers to control swine flu" and medical officers of
health now have the power to order people to be quarantined at home if
they have been in close contact with someone who has swine flu.
This includes barring children and teachers from
schools. Schools are concerned that they have not been given enough
information to advise parents of the wider effect of closing to prevent
the spread of swine flu.
The
ministry has told schools to be prepared for sudden closures that could
last several weeks, and to talk to parents about remote learning.
All these articles surely make it obvious that cautionary
measures should be taken to help stop the spread of any flu viruses.
Several schools have already taken action by purchasing hand sanitizer
solution and making it available to students in a controlled form.

We
liked that news item on TV recently regarding a group of companies
that will not accept that "R" Word (Recession) being
used within their businesses at all. If you mention or use that word at
all, in any shape or form you are up for a FINE... A positive attitude
towards the future of you business is most important to your business
going forward.
Household
gloves
We
have an oversupply of "Medium" sized Yellow flock lined
household gloves. Going at cost to clear the shelf. 10 pairs @
$10.00. Great value as these have gone up in price from March.
Paper
Towels
We
have been able to procure a supply of a paper towel that has very good wet
strength and is ideal for Child care situations. It comes in a roll of 12
rolls per bundle. This is the same paper product as the Kleenex Viva
towels sold in supermarkets but are now available in a commercial poly
bundle. Priced right at $32.50 per poly bundle.
Microfibre
Cleaning Cloths
We
have been able to find a 6 cloth pack of these very easy to use cleaning
cloths. They ecologically clean without using chemicals. Reusable and
machine washable, and are 400 x 400 mm. 6 colours. We have found them
fantastic and I personally use them for keeping those stick finger marks
of LCD screens on TV's and computers. Great for cleaning computers and the
like because there is no lint, chemicals etc. Pack of
6 @ $10.50. Has to be great value ( $1.75 each)
Vacuum
Cleaner Parts
We
have a new supplier that deals with the parts, bags, Hoses, Tools, Nozzles
and Wands for most brands, models and types of vacuum cleaners. We
can now supply all those bits that wear our. Combination heads, tubes,
hoses, bags, motors etc.
The
RED BAG
We
are also a supplier of the "Red Bag" that is popular for wet
& dry vacuums. This product just pulls over the main fabric filter to
stop the dust from the usual dry vacuum operation sticking. To clean out
the vacuum body just open up and shake the fabric filter and lift out.
This then makes the vacuum ready to be used for Wet use very easily. Will
be used over and over without ever having to use the usual paper bags. Cut
costs of bags by using the " Red Bag" purchased once only @
$30.00. Saves loads of ongoing costs of paper vac bags. (usually about
$5.00 each)

Resession...
What Resession
This
February
was our best Feburary ever. It just shows that if you
provide good products and good service then your
customers will always respond with wanting more good
products and good service. The products we
highlighted in our February newsletter were mostly good
sellers so we have included those that were popular in
this addition.
Wheelie
Bins
Our
supplier for these really tries to look after you. As
these are bulky items and can't be delivered by a normal
courier, we have to get them to use a carrier and that
cost a little more. The bigger the order become more
efficient to freight. We can also provide replacement
axils, wheels and hinge pins for most. Both
standard Green and assorted colours are available but ask
about the colours availability as they change from time to
time. 120 Ltr and 240 Ltr are the most popular. at $85.00 and
$110.00 respectively.
Rubbish
/ Garbage Bags
Huge
range of these are available. We have several suppliers so
we should be able cover all your requirements. Sometimes
the cheaper bags are very thin and can split when removing
from a bin. We can get the thicker ones as you only get
what you pay for. Check our catalogue for sizes and
prices. The biggest seller has to be the "low cost
Big Black Saks at $55.00 for 250 bags.
Line Marking
We
cater for both grass marking and hard court marking. We
are now able to provide marking tapes for floors of all
types. A wide range of colours and stripes are available.
We are also looking at providing a dispenser for this type
of line marking. We may have to import these as we can't
source them in NZ.

as travel limiters are also hard to get. We can supply

Alkaline Dry Cell Batteries
All
of a sudden these items went mad as they are really good value. We
can supply most types of batteries but the majority of
customers require AA & AAA types. There are basically
2 main grades of these. Heavy duty Super Signal and
Very
heavy high energy. Heavy duty Super Signal come in packs
of 40 of both AA & AAA and are the best value at $
32.00 per pack. Very heavy high energy come in
different size packs. AA 40 Tray priced at $76.54 per
pack. AAA 10 pack priced at $15.76 per pack. Smaller
packs are also available in both sizes. Sizes C, D &

many different types of mops, mop heads, buckets, brooms,

Cleaning
Chemicals and other solutions
We
source all types of these essential products. Our online
catalogue has the basic range but if you have a particular

product that so many people are raving about is the
Bathroom Pal. This product is a thickened bleach solution
that is predominately used for removing mould from
paintwork. Ceilings are the main areas. Very easy to apply
with the right tools. We have property developers saying
it's saved them hours of back breaking time to get their
properties back on the rental market. Winter time coming
up means MORE MOULD. 5 Ltrs at

Pullman Back Pac Vacuum Cleaner
We have
only 1 left so we want to get shot of it for new stock.
How about at cost price of $ 99.00 These
back-pack vacs are sooo light that you hardly know you
have one on. They have all the right specs including a
blower and tools for keyboards. Spare parts available
if you need them.

We
have heard a whisper from the back office that prices of
these are going up in March sometime. Both

new year 2009 has started and although the economic
position we all find ourselves in is "Bleak" to
say the least, we all need to get on with doing our jobs.
We at Trend 4 Trade will always endeavour to find the best

Window Winder Handles (Unique to Trend 4 Trade)

are for replacing those lost handles that wind open the

Alkaline Dry Cell Batteries
We
can supply most types of batteries but the majority of
customers require AA & AAA types. There are basically
2 main grades of these. Heavy duty Super Signal and Very
heavy high energy. Heavy duty Super Signal come in packs
of 40 of both AA & AAA and are the best value at $
32.00 per pack. Very heavy high energy come in
different size packs. AA 40 Tray priced at $76.54 per
